Why sourcing eats designer time and how we fix it

On a typical hospitality or residential project, a designer spends between 20 and 40 percent of production time chasing samples, comparing suppliers, and reconciling lead times. That is time not spent designing, presenting or billing.

Arkea-Tech absorbs that workload. You send a spec sheet, a mood board or even a single reference photo. We come back with a shortlist of vetted suppliers, physical samples in one consolidated shipment, and a clear comparison sheet you can hand straight to your client.

The result: faster spec sign-off, fewer supplier surprises, and a paper trail that protects you if a material is later challenged on site.

Our supplier network

We work with a curated network of European quarries, Italian textile mills, French joineries, Portuguese stone yards and specialist ateliers across the Middle East and Asia. Every supplier has been visited, sampled and audited on quality and reliability.

For each spec we shortlist three to five suppliers minimum, always including a premium option and a value alternative, so you keep negotiating power and can meet a budget without downgrading the look.

Sustainability and traceability by default

Certifications matter. FSC and PEFC for wood, GreenGuard for finishes, GOTS for textiles, EPD sheets for stone, we filter your shortlist against the certifications your project or your client requires.

On request, we provide full traceability: quarry of origin for stone, mill for fabric, forest for wood. Useful for LEED, BREEAM, WELL or private-client due diligence.

What you get

  • Curated supplier shortlist with contacts, lead times and MOQ
  • Physical sample box consolidated and shipped to your studio
  • Comparison sheet: price per m2, origin, certifications, availability
  • Digital swatch library (photos, technical sheets, care instructions)
  • Purchase order coordination and freight tracking on request
  • Sustainability filter: FSC, low-VOC, recycled, certified textiles
